We can treat a range of foot conditions including

Fungal Nail Infection

Fungal infection of the toenails or fingernails is commonly caused by filamentous fungi that invade the nail bed. It is caused by a weakened immune system, microlesions, systemic diseases, a moist environment in footwear or poor hygiene which promote pathogenic fungi colonization on or in the human organism. An infection is always proceded by cellular damage caused by trauma, circulatory disorder, diabetes or metabolic disorder.

Treatment of fungal nail infection will need to be decided by consultation.

Toenail Reconstruction

Toenail reconstruction is suitable for deformed or infected finger or toenails. The nail will be cleaned of all infected and separated nail and a new nail will be reconstructed.

I use a special anti-fungal gel system which is especially suitable for this treatment. It is a very elastic UV gel, capable of adapting to the movements of the finger or toenail. Having unique adhesive properties the results are extremely good even when there is little remaining nail plate or the toenail is deformed. It is also a suitable treatment on scaly nail surfaces, for correcting ridges and deformities and for hiding discolouration, which is a way to protect toenails for the sports enthusiast.

All treatments will require prior consultation and will be performed by myself as a qualified Foot Health Practitioner.

Nail Bracing NiTi (Orthonyxia)

Ingrown toenail bracing is a painless procedure that does not need anesthetic, or any recovery period, and eliminates the risk of infection. The procedure only takes 45 - 60 minutes and provides immediate relief.

This treatment can only be performed by a qualified practitioner.
